NIO ES8 (NIO ES8) is NIO's first mass-produced SUV model, which was
released on NIO DAY on December 16, 2017, with the potential target
user group being "the new generation of nuclear families for first
- and second-tier cities".
Nio ES8 adopts all-aluminum body, which is the first all-aluminum
body independently designed, developed and manufactured in China,
and all technical patents are held by NIO. [9] The first-generation
NIO ES8 is positioned as a high-performance 7-seater pure electric
SUV with a "2+3+2" seat layout, a body length of 5099mm and a
wheelbase of 3070mm. In April 2018, the NIO ES8 6-seater version
was officially unveiled at the 15th Beijing International
Automobile Exhibition in Beijing, using the "2+2+2" seating layout.

priced from 528,800. Smart electric flagship SUV, based on the
NT2.0 technology platform, has been upgraded to different degrees
compared with the first generation model in all aspects.
Nio ES8 has won the 2017 China Automobile Festival New Energy Model
of the Year, the first prize of Science and Technology Progress
Award of China Automobile Industry Science and Technology Award,
and the five-star rating of European EURO-NCAP crash Safety test.
As of July 2023, NIO ES8 has delivered more than 65,000 vehicles
globally
