The BYD Frigate 07 is a midsize SUV from BYD.In terms of
appearance, the frigate 07 adopts the "ocean aesthetics" design
concept, the front face stretches the visual width through the
horizontal lines, the lights and the grille are integrated, the two
sides of the grille have successively arranged the light group,
quite a sense of fashion, the headlamp adopts a new design, high
recognition. The side lines are relatively straight, and the
D-pillar is set with an energy indicator to show the power or
charging status, and a hidden door handle is used. The rear shape
is full, the taillight has a high degree of recognition, such as
the Honor version uses a penetrant design, and the interior design
of the lamp chamber is very characteristic.
In terms of body size, its length/width/height are 4820/1920/1750
mm, respectively, and the wheelbase is 2820 mm. The interior space
is spacious, using a large five-seat layout, 2820mm body wheelbase
brings spacious rear space, and the rear floor is flat design. The
front seats are covered with a large area of brown and gray
deerskin, with electric waist support + ventilation + heating +
memory function.
The texture of the chassis is another important surprise that the
frigate 07 gave me. Although the chassis uses a more conventional
front McPherson + rear four-link structure, it can not be
supported, but it is equipped with FSD frequency variable damping
shock absorber, which can automatically adjust the damping force
according to changes in road surface.
When driving on flat urban roads, the damping of the shock absorber
becomes larger, which brings stronger body support and makes the
vehicle attitude more stable; When encountering potholes or speed
bumps, the damping of the shock absorber quickly becomes smaller,
gives a larger vibration reduction stroke, provides a more delicate
vibration filtering capacity, and quickly filters out the road
vibration, thus effectively resolving the road bumps and shocks.
